Anna Marie (Stuart) Horton

Anna Marie (Stuart) Horton, 67, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away peacefully at her home on October 5, 2025.  She was born on June 1, 1958, in Silver City, New Mexico, the daughter of Arvel and Joyce (Fort) Stuart.

Anna loved her family more than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, also her nieces and nephews were special to her.    Anna was an outdoorsy person, she liked to go hiking, camping and hanging out at the creek.  Anna retired from being a cook at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center after working there for almost 30 years.  She and Dennis were married on May 29, 2005, but they have been together for 31 years.     

She is preceded in death by her parents Arvel and Joyce Stuart of Jasper, Arkansas, her in-laws Benny and Alice Horton of Harrison, Arkansas, her daughter Misty Stuart of Jasper, Arkansas and her niece Erin Stuart of Springdale, Arkansas.

Anna is survived by her husband Dennis Horton of Harrison, Arkansas, her son Joseph Carter of Jasper, Arkansas, her stepdaughter Tina Gilmore and family of Rockwall, Texas, her stepson Kevin (Rena) Horton of Harrison, Arkansas, grandkids Christian, Cadee, Darius, Syrus, Meka, Jacob (Kayla), Hunter and great grandson Brady.  Also, she leaves behind 5 brothers and sisters, Ray (Alice) Stuart of Springdale, Arkansas, Johnny (Tina) Stuart of Western Grove, Arkansas, Marvin Stuart of Marble Falls, Arkansas, Jan (Bill) Creamer of Harrison, Arkansas, Debra Johnson of Yellville, Arkansas and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Anna will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
