Albert Kenneth (A.J.) Jordan 90, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Friday November 18, 2022, at home with his wife and daughter by his side. Al was born December 28, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in Chicago but loved spending time in Wisconsin. He enlisted in the Illinois National Guard July 1st, 1949, spending 2 years in service.
Albert was an insurance adjuster for Northwest Appraisal for 35 years. He “retired” and moved to Arkansas in 1997. His retirement didn’t last long because he went to work for Van Matre Adult Day Center, as a van driver for several years. A.J. loved hunting, fishing and being out in nature, this was one of the reasons he and his wife chose to move to Arkansas. Also, in his past time, he enjoyed working in his workshop in the garage and spending time with family.
Albert is survived his wife, Linda Jordan of the home and three children Kelly Reynolds (Dan) of Harrison, Arkansas, Bill Summers of Hardy, Arkansas, Sean Summers (Alicia) of Hardy, Arkansas. Also, sister Shirley VanOverbake (Carmen) of North Port, Florida, brother Russel Jordan of Waukesha, Wisconsin and sister Gail Jordan of Madison, Wisconsin. He had 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
